Analysing trends

When is a trend a trend? Or just a fad? Trends are different from and much more enduring than fads. They are based on a deeper social relevance – “values”. And trends do not disapear as easily. Instead they “superimpose” and influence each other, expressing
themselves via different attributes within the market place. This is what makes looking for trends and analysis so difficult. We like to ask our clients: when is a trend relevant to you?
